Comments Policy

A few guidelines have become necessary.

Comments Are Encouraged

To encourage comments you are not required to register (actually, registration is disabled) or provide an email address.

Comment Form

Comments are moderated but after your first approved comment with a valid email, subsequent comments will be posted immediately. Use of a pseudonym is fine but product names in the name field are subject to being changed to Anon, Unknown, Guest, or your first name if it is available.

Your Email address is not published on the blog, nor shared. I may use it to privately contact you, but only with concerns related to your activity on Rickety. All email, snail mail, phone numbers, and any personal information posted in comments are subject to editing or deletion to protect the privacy of the commenter. See my privacy policy.

This blog is “family friendly” and comments which include offensive, rude, or inappropriate language will be edited or deleted.

Comments with more than one link in the body of the comments (not including the website field) are automatically put on hold.

If Your Comment Does Not Appear

If you leave a comment and it does not appear in a reasonable time period, and you know that it does not violate these Comment Policies, contact me at Feedback.

Comment Spam

Any comment assumed to be possible comment spam will be deleted and marked as comment spam. Though very infrequent, some legitimate comments may be automatically marked as spam and lost.

Hold Harmless

All comments within this blog are the responsibility of the commenter, not the blog owner. By submitting a comment, you agree that the comment content is your own, and to hold this site, Rickety, harmless from any and all repercussions, damages, or liability.

This website needs to be updated. It has early voting on Fri. Oct. 24. This year the 24th is on a Sun. Would like to know where and when to vote early.
