The seven temples line up north to south very well. Turns out that the Reno and Las Vegas temples can also be visited on the way to California and on the return. I didn't go with my whole family to the Utah temples, just those who wanted to come. My wife stayed behind because my daughter was close to having her baby. I have tried to talk my family into doing this very thing as the summer vacation. Taking weekends and going to the ones that are further away and staying overnight. The ones close to home we could go to perhaps on Friday nights and then out to dinner. the issue becomes all of our children. I think there is 24 children and we use each other for the babysitting. That could become a real issue. None of them are old enough to do the babysitting themselves of the others. I am so with you on this one.
